Each of the four musicians comes from a different musical background.
That’s why CEDENCE’s music can’t be defined by a single style: they combine elements of rock, heavy and new wave.
The result is a combination of energetic rhythms – sometimes a minimalistic but always catchy sound.
History
CEDENCE was founded in Munich in mid-2007 by guitarist Markus and drummer Patric. In autumn of the same year, singer Lenny joined the band. Bassist Sebastian completed CEDENCE in 2008.
In 2013, CEDENCE recorded their first EP produced by Juan Klaus Obermayer.
In 2016, Patric left the band and drummer Marc took his place. Just one year later, bassist Sebastian also left and was replaced by Chris.
CEDENCE have been performing in their current line-up since the end of 2017.
